Nassi Vaklinova
Founder & Lead Educator · Brighton, England, UK
Hi, I'm Nassi —
Founder of Green Nexus
I’m a mother of two and for over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of teaching children of different ages, and along the way, I became a certified Montessori teacher with MCI. My academic journey began with a Bachelor’s in History and Geography, and later, I specialised in a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development. But more than anything, I’ve always believed that our greatest teacher is the nature! Alongside learning about our climate reality we are building resilience with inspirational examples such as nature-inspired innovations. Alongside teaching, I volunteer with Greenpeace - Speaker program, working with schools to inspire children around eco- educational project. And this is where Green Nexus was born. At Green Nexus, I want to create more than lessons. I want to create value in children’s minds — to help them understand the world around them, to think critically, solve problems, and become active citizens. Through stories, science, hands-on projects, and eco-challenges, we are building a mindset I call a ‘green state of mind’.

Online Classes, Books & Eco-Projects
Online Classes
Live and self-paced online classes for students aged 10–16, covering climate science, eco-resilience, and environmental geography.
Books & Resources
Curriculum-aligned books, lesson plans, and activity packs designed to bring nature and sustainability into every classroom.
Eco-Projects
Hands-on eco-challenges and school projects that turn learning into real-world action — from urban forests to wetland mapping.
Why We Exist
To make world-class eco-resilience and climate education freely accessible to every young person on the planet — and to build a global generation of critical thinkers, eco ambassadors, and environmental leaders.
Radical Accessibility
Every resource, every programme, every tool — 100% free. Geography and income should never determine who gets to learn about the planet they live on.
Action Over Awareness
We don't just teach about climate change — we equip young people to respond to it. Knowledge without action is not enough.
Community & Belonging
Eco leadership is stronger together. We build communities of young people who support, challenge, and inspire each other across borders.
Excellence in Education
Curriculum-aligned, research-backed, and teacher-designed. Our resources meet the highest educational standards while remaining engaging and accessible.
Trusted by Educators Worldwide
We work alongside schools, NGOs, and educational bodies to ensure our programmes meet the highest standards and reach the communities that need them most.
Greenpeace Speaker Programme
Nassi volunteers with the Greenpeace Speaker Programme, delivering eco-educational talks in schools across the UK.
Montessori Centre International (MCI)
Certified Montessori educator — bringing child-led, nature-connected learning principles to every Green Nexus programme.
UN Sustainable Development Goals
All programmes mapped to the UN SDGs, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
